This 12-day Chengdu, Xi’an, and Beijing cultural study camp connects Sichuan intangible heritage, Qin and Han history, Tang Dynasty culture, Beijing imperial heritage, and modern technology experiences. Take a flight to Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. After arrival, you will be met by staff and transferred to the city hotel for check-in. Take a short rest and adjust to Chengdu’s climate and rhythm, preparing energy for the upcoming journey.
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Sichuan Cuisine Museum to explore the origin and heritage of Sichuan cuisine, view ingredient displays, and watch demonstrations of traditional cooking techniques. Under the guidance of a professional chef, make Kung Pao Chicken and panda-shaped pastries by hand, enjoying the fun of cooking.Taste dozens of local Chengdu snacks and experience the city’s everyday food culture in one place.Enjoy a wonderful Sichuan Opera performance, watch face-changing, fire-spitting, and other unique skills up close, and immerse yourself in the charm of Sichuan and Chongqing intangible cultural heritage.
After breakfast at the hotel, visit Dujiangyan Giant Panda Base for a panda volunteer experience. Under professional guidance, prepare food for giant pandas. The whole process will be photographed, and an internationally recognized volunteer certificate will be issued after completion.After lunch, visit the Dujiangyan Irrigation System with a guide to explore this ancient water conservancy wonder, learn about the wisdom of Li Bing and his son, and feel its thousand-year history and magnificent scale.For dinner, enjoy authentic Chengdu hot pot with special sesame oil dipping sauce and savor classic Sichuan flavors.
After breakfast at the hotel, visit Chengdu Lacquerware Factory to learn about the history and craftsmanship of lacquerware. Under the guidance of an intangible heritage inheritor, make lacquer beads by hand and take your work home. Visit People’s Park, enjoy authentic covered-bowl tea, watch a tea art performance, and immerse yourself in Chengdu’s slow lifestyle and local atmosphere.After lunch, pack your luggage and go to Chengdu East Railway Station to take a high-speed train to Xi’an. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the city hotel. Attend the opening ceremony dinner, learn about the itinerary and safety reminders, enjoy Xi’an local flavors, and meet your fellow travelers.
After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Emperor Qinshihuang’s Mausoleum Site Museum to admire the magnificent underground army. Under professional guidance, make a terracotta warrior replica by hand and gain a deeper understanding of Qin Dynasty history and culture.After lunch, visit Huaqing Palace, stroll through the royal gardens, and learn about the history and royal lifestyle of this “longevity hot spring SPA.”Change into Tang Dynasty-style clothing and makeup, then enjoy a night tour of Grand Tang Ever Bright City. Watch stilt walking and dragon dance performances, take part in a tunnel experience, and learn about the daily customs of Guanzhong people.Each participant will receive RMB 50 to freely taste Guanzhong local snacks at Yuanjia Village Snack Street, practicing independent spending skills.Watch the live-action show Jiu Jiu Da Qin and experience the grandeur and historical changes of the Qin Empire.
After breakfast at the hotel, visit Shaanxi History Museum. Follow the guide to view various cultural relics and learn about the historical development of Shaanxi and the depth of Chinese civilization.After lunch, pack your luggage and go to Xi’an North Railway Station to take a high-speed train to Beijing. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the city hotel for check-in and rest.
After breakfast at the hotel, visit Tiananmen Square, walk through the world’s largest city square, view landmark buildings, and feel the solemn national atmosphere. Enter the Palace Museum and enjoy an in-depth visit along the central axis, learning about Ming and Qing royal court life and historical stories.Dine inside the Forbidden City and enjoy an exclusive afternoon tea experience.
