Depart from various cities and travel to Lanzhou New Area or Xining. After arrival, take some time to rest and adapt to the Northwest climate and altitude, preparing energy for the upcoming journey.
After breakfast at the hotel, depart from Lanzhou New Area / Xining to Qinghai Lake Erlangjian Scenic Area. Walk along the lakeside, admire the beautiful scenery where the deep blue water of Qinghai Lake meets the grassland, and experience the vastness and purity of this plateau lake.The journey then continues to Chaka Town for rest and preparation.
After breakfast at the hotel, visit Chaka Salt Lake Sky Mirror. Walk on the salt lake, check in at the clear and romantic “Mirror of the Sky,” and experience the purity and grandeur of the salt lake.Then visit Qarhan Salt Lake, the largest salt lake in China, and admire the unique landscape of the “Ten-Thousand-Zhang Salt Bridge,” feeling the extraordinary craftsmanship of nature.Arrive in Golmud in the evening, check in, and rest.
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Dachaidan Emerald Lake. Admire the colorful lake water in emerald green, deep blue, and other mineral-rich tones, like a piece of jade set in the Gobi. Every shot looks like a cinematic photo.Enjoy the Gobi scenery along the way and feel the vastness and magnificence of Northwest China. Arrive in Dunhuang in the evening, check in, and adapt to the environment.
After breakfast at the hotel, visit Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring. Walk through the desert, experience the unique scenery of “desert and spring coexisting,” enjoy the fun of desert walking, and admire the beautiful sunrise / sunset in the desert.Then visit the Mogao Caves. Follow the guide to explore the caves, admire thousand-year-old murals and sculptures, and learn about the historical heritage and artistic value of Dunhuang Mogao Caves.Take part in a mural copying experience. Under professional guidance, copy Dunhuang murals, feel the craftsmanship and artistic charm of ancient artisans, and keep a special personal souvenir.
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Guazhou Desert Art Base. View art installations in the desert and experience the collision between art and nature, immersing yourself in the unique charm of the Northwest desert.Then visit Jiayuguan Pass, the “First and Greatest Pass under Heaven.” Learn about its historical and military value, and feel the grandeur of the ancient frontier.Take part in the “Silk Road travel pass” experience, simulating an ancient pass-through scene and feeling the unique charm of frontier culture. After the visit, continue to Zhangye and check in.
After breakfast at the hotel, visit Zhangye Colorful Danxia. Admire the colorful and layered Danxia landforms, experience the wonder of nature, check in at popular viewing platforms, and capture the stunning scenery.Visit the “Nomadic Station” to experience the lifestyle of nomadic people, learn about the inheritance and features of nomadic culture, and feel the charm of Northwest nomadic traditions.After the itinerary, continue to Xining / downtown Lanzhou, check in, and rest.
After breakfast at the hotel, pack your luggage and check out. According to your flight / train schedule, dedicated staff will transfer you to the airport / railway station. Return home with full memories and wonderful experiences from the Northwest journey.
